Argus Panoramic Night Vision Goggle (APNVG)

The Argus APNVG is a panoramic goggle system designed to increase the field of view from the standard 40° found in typical systems to up to 100 degrees FOV. 
It uses four image intensifier tubes to provide this wider perspective without dropping resolution or compromising collimation.

The two center tubes are parallel and point forward, providing depth perception and stereoscopic vision. The outboard tubes on each side add peripheral vision, meaning the user perceives three circular fields of view. This configuration allows for significantly better awareness of the surroundings while maintaining a sharp image.

Built around a high-resolution, fully collimating lens system, the APNVG is also waterproof (rated for 2 meters up to 30 minutes) and has a total weight of 800g. It is externaly powered via the Argus Universal Strobe Battery Pack (USBP), which is included with each device.

APNVG Systems feature hand select tubes in the center and are assembled and calibrated by our Partner ONSC on their Hoffman Engineering ANV-126A and HVS-126 Night Vision Digital Calibration System - all inside their facility's NVG clean room. They will be vacuum tested and argon purged using a digital purge machine.
