AB RVM-14 | Photonis 4G HIGH GAIN White Phosphor

The AB Night Vision RVM-14 is an extremely tough monocular billet machined from aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminum, built to face the harshest environments.
The housing accepts all standard mil-spec PVS-14 lenses, or lightweight RPO lenses.

Manual Gain and power is controlled via a rotary switch that activates the device at maximum brightness. Further rotation dims the Image Intensifer Tube.

For mounting, the housing includes a standard 1/4-20 threaded side mounting area for PVS-14 j-arms. Alternatively, the bridge mount (RVM-14 Bridge) can be used in a binocular configuration via the small dovetail integrated into the top of the housing. An integrated infrared (IR) illuminator is located on the front of the unit and is activated by a push-button switch. To prevent accidental activation, this switch is surrounded by a protective fence. The RVM-14 is MIL-STD-810H drop-tested and waterproof up to 66 feet.

Housing components are media blasted for a non-reflective matte finish and black anodized. The Flat Dark Earth (FDE) version features an additional Cerakote finish applied over the anodizing. 

Power is supplied by a CR123A battery, providing an approximate battery life of 75 hours at room temperature. The total weight of the unit with standard mil-spec lenses and a CR123 battery is 300 grams, resulting in a 15% reduction in weight and a 50% increase in battery life compared to a typical single AA PVS-14 device.
